The Honorary Secretary's report 25/26 is now available on the club website Members info -> Members area -> (password) Members2026

An updated "Adult Supervision of children"  statement is now available in the Club information, policies and procedures section of our club website www. monkstownltc.ie  It is very important for the parents of Junior members to familiarise themselves with our supervision policy.

DEFIB & CPR TRAINING

The Health & Safety Committee are delighted to host an evening for our members to receive some CPR and Defib training.  As you know, we are lucky to have a defibrillator in the club and the more members that know how it works the better!

                                                                   UPDATE FROM STEPHEN

It was great to see Conor Gannon down in the club last Saturday as he dropped in for a practice set with some of our Men's 1st Team (he is pictured with Men's Captain Dermot Hayes).

He also gave some of his time to hitting with some of our excited juniors.

We wish Conor the very best of luck as he and the Ireland team take on Syria in their World Group tie in Limerick.

The matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday at the UL Arena.

Conor Niland was also on hand last Saturday as he was dropping his kids, Emma and Tom, to their Saturday coaching sessions

A unique situation for a club in Ireland to have the non-playing Captain and a current Davis Cup player on the courts in the week of a home Davis Cup match!

Monkstown is fully behind both Conors for this crucial tie.

Another great occasion to look forward to in Limerick this weekend will be the conferring of Honorary Membership of Limerick Lawn Tennis Club to our own George McGill.

George, a Limerick native but now very much a Monkstown man, represented Ireland in the Davis Cup in 1998.

Congrats George on a wonderful tribute from your hometown club.

🤞  it'll stop raining soon!   Stephen
