GROUNDSPERSON – TENNIS CLUB SOUTH CO. DUBLIN

 

      Monkstown Lawn Tennis Club, based in South Dublin, which has 1200 members and six tennis courts, are seeking a reliable grounds person who will work 10- 20 hours per week and be responsible for the following:

  • Carry out day-to-day ground’s maintenance, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, and hedge trimming.

  • Sweep and maintain tennis courts and grounds on a daily basis.

  • Maintain club house and adjoining facilities on a daily basis to include bathrooms and kitchen.

  • Assist with fixtures and fittings, repairs and renovations upgrades

  • Operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery such as mowers and strimmer’s.

  • Monitor and address any safety hazards, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Support seasonal projects such as landscaping and improvements.

  • Opening and locking the club house.

 

The Candidate

  • Previous experience in grounds / sports facilities maintenance.

  • Practical skills in operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment.

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and pride in delivering high-quality work.

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and manage physical tasks.
