MLTC Club Notices 12/02/2026
MLTC NEWSLETTER 12th February 2026
Mid term break for many schools next week so please note no Junior tennis coaching next Monday. However we have tennis Tuesday and Wednesday to make up rained off days. Saturdays run as usual.
Parking in the Neighbourhood
There have been numerous complaints to the Club from our neighbours regarding the poor parking of our members in the surrounding estates. Remember when parking you have a legal duty to park in such a way that emergency vehicles, utility vehicles and neighbours’ vehicles/driveways are not impeded in any way. If members continue to disrespect our neighbours by parking poorly, we are likely to run into further parking problems.
If driving to the Club can you please allow yourselves extra time to find a safe/legal parking spot and the additional walking time to the Club.

UPDATE FROM STEPHEN
DAVIS CUP
Conor Gannon played a fantastic doubles match at last weekend's Davis Cup tie against Syria in Limerick.
Conor and his partner, Charlie Barry, were very unlucky in going down in a three set thriller, losing the final set on a tie break.
Another Davis Cup cap under his belt and another great experience in front of an Irish crowd.
Conor continues to inspire the next generation of Monkstown juniors.
He flies out tomorrow to Tunisia for an ITF Men's Tour tournament.
Safe travels and the best of luck Conor!
Cheers, Stephen
