LADIES MORNING
Wednesday 3rd December is going to be a very Special Morning — when we will remember our dear departed tennis friends.
Traditionally ladies morning has been such a welcoming introduction to the friendliness that is Monkstown Tennis Club.
As usual we will have tennis between 10-11. At 11am we would love to welcome our former members to enjoy mince pies nibbles etc and reminisce!

MIXED DOUBLES TURKEY TOURNAMENT- SUNDAY DECEMBER 7th at 12 Noon
A reminder to register for our mixed fun turkey tournament. Numbers are limited so book now! A wide range of amazing prizes and great craic guaranteed.
The cost is €10 per person which can be paid via easy payments.
Please bring a plate to share afterwards and enjoy some mulled wine and mince pies!
INFORMATION SESSION FOR JUNIORS (13+)
On Saturday 29th November from 4.45-5.15 we are holding an information session for juniors (13+ years) to discuss codes of conduct and to get their views on how we promote this in practice, in MLTC.
All teenage juniors are welcome and I will put reminder into the groups that coach at those times on Saturdays.

LADIES EVENTS
WINTER BOX CHALLENGE
The Winter boxes continue and a gentle reminder that these need to be played by December 14th. Happy boxing!
WEDNESDAY LADIES MORNING TENNIS
Tennis will be from 10am to 12 on Wednesday next. The morning is being hosted by Vera Sheehan – do come for tennis coffee and chat.
LADIES' 🎄 CHRISTMAS 🥳 PARTY
The Ladies Committee would like to invite new and long-term MLTC members to join them on Friday November 28th to kick-start the Christmas season 🤶 💃
A cocktail reception at 7pm 🍾 will be followed by a light supper, music, dancing and spot prizes 🎁 €25pp. Sign up now on Easypayments.

MEN’S EVENTS
MEN’S FLOODLIGHT LEAGUE – DLTC
Our men’s 2nd team (class 3) put up a great fight against Castleknock 2 in the semi finals of the floodlight on Monday night – unfortunately it was not to be, but well played to the team on the night - Gary Kelly,
Harry Crossan, David Keane © and Philip Bolger. A great campaign by the team who secured promotion to class 2 for next year!
MEN’S MORNING – Sunday Mornings
Men’s Morning will be at the usual time of 10am to 12 noon this week.
Do come along for tennis, coffee and chats.
WINTER LEAGUE
A reminder that 2026 Winter League starts 25th January. This will run over 5 Sundays before playoffs etc.
Sign up sheet for Mens and Ladies is in the club foyer.
CLUB NIGHT
Come and join us for Club Night tonight - any time between 8pm and 10pm. Stephen will kick things off with some fun drills/games at 8pm.

Very Best of luck to our U/12 Mixed Team - Richie & Daniel, Darragh & Ciara, Holly & Moya - for their Final against Malahide , next Saturday the 22nd, @ 3pm

Tough luck to the Stars & Stripes U/14 Boys & Girls team who lost in their Final last Saturday to a very strong Gleanageary team....super performance to get to the Final!
Our Mens' 2nd Floodlight team went down to a very strong Castleknock team in their Semi Final - tough luck Gary, Harry, David & Philip - but you guys had a great campaign to reach the semis.
Our Ladies Monday Charity league team are through to the Semi Final and play Blackrock on Monday next @ 10am in Blackrock.
Very best of luck to Elaine O'Toole (c), Evana Boyle, Genevieve Conway, Sinead Moriarty, Aoife Fay & Silvie Ryan. Thanks to the squad players - Yvonne Sutton, Semin Soher & Marie McCullough who helped out along the way.

It is with sadness that we let you know of the passing Patricia (Patsy) Bolger. All funeral arrangements can be accessed on RIP.IE
Sincere condolences to her husband Peter, her children Peter, Ciarán, Edel and Rachel, and her grandchildren Mark, Carla, Hannah, Matthew, Daniel, Philip, Emer, Ronan and James.
