LADIES’ NEWS
Return of the Ladies Drop in Coaching - Wednesdays, 7pm DLTC League levels.
We are delighted to see the Ladies Drop-in League Coaching make its comeback on Wednesday evenings.
There will be no coaching next week (Wednesday 28th) due to Mens Floodlight league but if interested for future weeks please send your details to Colette Langan
Ladies Floodlight League
The Ladies Floodlight league wrapped up this week with fantastic matches played across the board and wins for our Second and Third teams.
Huge thank you to our team captains Olivia Crossan, Karen MacKenna and Grace Cleary and all the players and subs who contributed. All teams maintained their position and will be staying in class for the next season.
Winter Doubles Box Challenge
Many thanks to everyone who signed up for the Doubles Winter Box Challenge. We’ve over 80 participants. This is a great number given that this challenge is running concurrently with our ongoing Singles Box Challenge. Format is as in previous years with round robin matches to be played within each group with the added twist of the addition of a Tie Breaker as the final game!! Box groups will be announced to all the participants over the weekend.
MEN’S NEWS
Floodlight league
Team 1 were incredibly unlucky, losing to their direct play off rivals Greystones 2-1. Thanks a lot to Kevin Wylde for doing a great job captaining and organising the team.
Team 2 had a tough group and did their best, it was a hard ask for them after being promoted last year, but thanks to Philip Bolger who captained the team.
Team 3 won their final group match against Wicklow Town and are now into a play off match against Nass at home on Monday November 2nd 7pm!!!
Well done to the team on the night; Tim Stokes, Alfie Smyth, Rob Ryan & Eoin Langford.
Men’s Coaching - Mondays Evenings
