Best of luck to everyone participating in the Singles Box Tournament. Great to see so many of you on court for singles games, matches and a few singles lessons! 🎾. The energy out there is fantastic, and it is brilliant to see everyone getting stuck into their games so quickly. As an added incentive, with the intention of running this box tournament again in the new year, note that the winner of each box will be promoted to the box above and the player with the lowest points will move to the box below! MOUNTPLEASANT TENNIS CLUB FUNDRAISER FOR GAZA
Mountpleasant will be running the Tennis4Gaza charity event again this year!
Last year was a big success with over 225 participants on the day, lots of tennis, a bake sale & live entertainment on the day. We also had tennis players from over 10 different tennis clubs- including members from Monkstown- participating in Mount Pleasant on the day in a mixed doubles Fast Fours format competition.
Most importantly of all we raised just over 10,000euro for MSF Medecins Sans Frontier and Unicef Gaza Appeals.
This year we are hoping to make the event even bigger and better!!
It would be great if you would sign up to play in Mount Pleasant on the day!
If you wish to sign up please scan the QR code on the poster which is on the MLTC Noticeboard in the foyer and function room.
